The parent group, KnightHaven, came to Red Deer back in 2012. After a couple of years it became an independent satellite group in 2014 when it changed it's name to Red Stags. It started as a bunch of people with the desire to sword fight in an inexpensive and creative way. We still enjoy "Retro Knights" where we use our old-style, handmade boffer weapons from the days of yore but prefer the more durable high impact foam weapons we use today. We have created, and seek to grow, our creative and historical haven so others can come fight, socialize and pursue all sorts of skill-building activities but something is missing!
